Dark blue nano tungsten oxide, which may be applied for preparing infrared ultraviolet shielding material, is blue tungsten oxide with nano grain size. The shielding material obtained may be used in thermal insualting window glass. The phase composition of the nano grain size blue tungsten oxide is not a single phase. After being subjected to once oxidation and twice reduction, the blue tungsten oxide is transferred into the medium grain size tungsten powder with a particle diameter of 3~10μm, accounting for 83.86%.
According to the oxidation-reduction deposition growth mechanism, it is known that the reduction of blue tungsten oxide during the reduction process is not synchronous. Therefore, the particle size distribution of the tungsten powder obtained after the first reduction of blue tungsten oxide is very uneven. When the tungsten powder reduced by the first time of blue tungsten oxide is oxidized to tungsten trioxide and then reduced, since the particle size distribution of the tungsten trioxide is relatively uniform, the reduction process of the tungsten trioxide is performed almost simultaneously. Therefore, the particle size distribution of the obtained tungsten powder tends to be uniform.
