Tungsten carbide cobalt composite powder can be prepared by solid phase synthesis method, and divided into the following three types according to the different carbonization methods:
Firstly prepare tungsten powder, secondly use solid carbon powder to carbonize it into tungsten carbide powder, and lastly cobalt ball milled and mixed into tungsten carbide and cobalt composite powder.
Tungsten carbide powder is made by direct carbonization of tungsten oxide and carbon, and then mixed with cobalt powder to form tungsten carbide and cobalt composite powder.
Tungsten oxide, cobalt oxide, and carbon powder are simply mixed and then carbonized in NH3 or H2 to form the tungsten carbide cobalt composite powder.
