Preparation Methods of Yellow Tungsten Oxide
1. Using solid phase method, process of tungsten trioxide is simple, but the prepared WO3 powder is easy to agglomerate, and its morphology cannot be well controlled.

2. Liquid phase method is often used to synthesize WO3 nanocrystals. Common feature: Raw material is based on a homogeneous solution. After a certain period of reaction, the solution and solvent are separated by filtration, drying, extraction and other separation methods to obtain the precursor and then calcined to obtain the desired nanoparticles.

The liquid phase method mainly includes a precipitation method, a sol-gel method, a hydrothermal method, and a microemulsion method.

Advantages of microemulsion method: Experimental device is simple, particle size is small and distribution is uniform, surface activity is high, monodispersity is good, easy to achieve high purification, and has wide applicability.

However, experimental process is complicated, condition control is more stringent, raw materials are often more expensive, yield is low, and cost is relatively high, which greatly limits the practical application of the method.

The problem of hydrothermal synthesis method is that equipment cost is relatively high, technical cost is high, operation is complicated, not suitable for industrial production.

3. Tungsten trioxide nanomaterials prepared by gas phase method have the advantages of uniform particles, high purity, small particle size, good dispersibility, high chemical reaction activity, etc. However, it requires high technical requirements, large equipment investment and high cost.

4. Tungsten trioxide nanoparticles with regularity, high crystallinity, and good dispersibility can be obtained under ultrasonic conditions, but not suitable for mass production.
