Tungsten oxide is often used as the material of electrochromic layer of the double-layer all-inorganic electrochromic device. According to the experts, such an electrochromic device can adjust the visible light transmittance to 50%-0.01%, and then greatly reduce the transmittance of light in the colored state, thereby achieving the effect of reducing room temperature, saving energy and protecting privacy.

The experts also introduced that the double-layer all-inorganic electrochromic device described above includes a lower isolation layer, a lower ion blocking layer, a lower transparent conductive layer B, a lower ion storage layer, a lower ion layer, a lower electrochromic layer, and lower transparent conductive layer A, substrate, upper transparent conductive layer A, upper electrochromic layer, upper ion layer, upper ion storage layer, upper transparent conductive layer B, upper ion blocking layer, and upper isolation layer. And this electrochromic device can be formed on both sides of the substrate by a double-sided magnetron sputtering coating process. Wherein, the electrochromic layers are both tungsten oxide thin films.
