Cs0.32WO3 nanoparticles may be used to prepare a variety of environmentally friendly transparent thermal insulation material such as thermal insulation coating. Some experts have used k as a parameter to evaluate the transparent thermal insulation properties of the coating.
Here, k is a ratio of the transmittance maximum value Tmax in the visible light band to the transmittance T1100nm at 1100nm. The experts hydrothermally treated Cs0.32WO3 powder at different HF concentrations and prepared a transparent thermal insulation coating. They found that under the premise of reduction of 1mol/L acetic acid, the addition of HF can further increase the k of Cs0.32WO3 powder. And k is significantly higher than that of Cs0.32WO3 powder obtained by hydrothermal treatment without HF addition.

In addition, the Cs0.32WO3 powder obtained by hydrothermal treatment under the condition of n (W): n (F) =1:0.45 corresponds to kmax, which indicates that the optimum addition amount of HF is n (W): n (F) =1:0.45. Too low HF addition amount is not enough to increase the carrier concentration in the powder, and too high HF concentration will destroy the crystal structure of Cs0.32WO3 to some extent, thereby reducing k and transparent heat insulation property.
