Nano Cs doped tungsten oxide, or Cs0.33WO3 nanoparticles, may be applied for preparing near infrared shielding material such as environmentally-friendly transparent thermal insulation coating, and thus be applied to architectural glass such as glass curtain walls. The thermal insulation performance of such coating is the expression of the near-infrared shielding performance of Cs0.33WO3 nano particles. Therefore, in order to improve the dispersibility of Cs0.33WO3 nanoparticles and the near-infrared shielding performance of the coating, the experts studied the effects of ball milling and dispersion agent on particle dispersion and near-infrared shielding property.

The results show that proper ball milling and dispersing agent is beneficial to the dispersion of Cs0.33WO3 nano particles, in which polyethylene glycol (PVA) and titanate coupling agent can significantly improve the dispersion stability of Cs0.33WO3 nano particles. At pH=7, the coating of Cs0.33WO3 nano particles dispersed with the titanate coupling agent has optimal near-infrared light shielding property and visible light transmittance.
