The following is a preparation method of cesium doped tungsten oxide powder, which has a certain cost advantage and a short reaction cycle. The preparation of the cesium doped tungsten oxide powder mainly includes the following steps:
1.0 According to the Cs/W molar ratio 1:(1.5-2.8), weigh ammonium metatungstate and cesium nitrate, add EDTA and propylene glycol, react at 170°C for 3h; wherein the molar ratio of EDTA to cesium ions is (3-7):1; propylene glycol is used in an amount such that the molar concentration of cesium hydroxide reaches 0.1-0.4mol/L; in addition, ammonium metatungstate contains NH4+, which not only provides a tungsten source, but also produces ammonia gas at a high temperature reaction. The atmosphere protects the color stability, and the obtained cesium doped tungsten oxide powder is dark blue; and propylene glycol acts not only as a reaction medium but also disperses the powder obtained by the reaction, so that the obtained powder has a small particle size.
2.0 The mixture obtained in step 1.0 is charged into a pressure-capacity bomb, and reacted at 260-270°C for 5-8h.
3.0 The reactant obtained in the step 2.0 was subjected to alcohol washing, centrifugation, and vacuum drying at 80°C to obtain the cesium doped tungsten oxide powder.
