Cesium tungsten oxide powder, mainly cesium tungsten oxide nano powder, may be prepared into heat insulation film, and therefore be applied for thermal insulating glass. And the prepared glass has excellent near-infrared shielding property. In other words, such heat insulation material exhibits excellent heat insulating effect. And some experts have studied the different cesium content of cesium tungsten oxide coated glass, and found that these coated architectural glasses have the near-infrared shielding tendency of high transmittance of visible light and low transmittance of near-infrared light (800-1100nm).
The experts also found that the near-infrared shielding tendency of these nano grain size cesium tungsten oxide coated glass increases with the increase of cesium content, and the Cs0.3WO3 coated glass has the best near-infrared shielding trend, and the highest transmittance in the visible region. In the near-infrared region, the transmittance in the near-infrared region is reduced by about 12% compared to the transmittance at 1100nm.
