Blue nano tungsten oxide may not only be used for the production of thermal insulation thin film which is widely used in fields requiring high heat insulation such as construction and automobiles, but also for preparing tungsten powder. As tungsten powder is widely used in the production of downstream tungsten products. Researchers have done a lot of experiments for better understanding the raw material --- blue tungsten oxide.
Some researchers adopt blue tungsten oxide powder to prepare medium grain size tungsten powder. The required raw material --- blue tungsten oxide, wherein the tungsten content is at the range of 79.2%~80%, the main phase component (WO2.9) content is 35%~85%; the loose specific gravity of blue tungsten oxide is 2.4g?cm-1~2.8g?cm-3; the Fischer particle size is 12μm~20μm; the screen mesh size is 60 mesh. An auxiliary material --- hydrogen, is also required, with a dew point of less than -40°C and a purity of 99.99%.
The equipment required: single tube reduction furnace, the heating belt length is 7.0m, the diameter of the furnace tube is 100mm, the maximum working temperature is 1000°C; the electron probe scanner. The reduction process is carried out in a single-tube reduction furnace. According to the production of the medium grain size tungsten powder, the process conditions are as follows: one zone furnace temperature of 730°C±10°C, two zone furnace temperature of 850°C ±10°C, three zone furnace temperature of 910°C±10°C; the hydrogen flow rate is (2.6±0.1) m3 ? h-1.
