Nanometer blue tungsten oxide may be applied for producing near infrared shielding material, such as thermal insulation films. The obtained heat-insulating film has an ultraviolet blocking rate of 99% and a visible light transmittance of more than 70%. Moreover, the heat insulation film also has an explosion-proof effect, which can resist a certain impact force and prevent the glass from breaking and scattering.
Blue tungsten oxide can be prepared by self-reduction of ammonium paratungstate. Under special process and technical conditions, taking ammonium paratungstate as raw material, without inletting NH3, NH3 contained in the raw material is used to micro-reduction of ammonium paratungstate in form of hydrogen, which is generated by cracking NH3 under a certain temperature condition. The raw material ammonium paratungstate is used for comparison test under different process parameters, different calcination temperature, feed rate, nitrogen flow rate, rotary furnace speed and other parameters. During the test, one of the process parameters is changed and other process parameters are fixed. Each parameter determines four different processes. And repeated comparison tests are performed.
