According to China Tungsten Online, data from the United States Geological Survey show that by the end of 2024, global tungsten reserves were about 4.6 million tons, up about 4.55% year-on-year; among them, China had the highest tungsten reserves, at 2.4 million tons, accounting for 52.17% of the world's total reserves, up about 4% from the end of 2023. Vietnam's tungsten reserves increased most significantly, increasing by nearly 90% to 140,000 tons. In 2024, global tungsten production was about 81,000 tons, down about 1.89% year-on-year; among them, China's tungsten production was the highest, at 67,000 tons, up about 1.52% year-on-year, accounting for 81.48% of the world's total production.
