The expert also introduced that the amorphous WO3 film has absorption peak of 0.7 eV in colored state, while the crystalline WO3 film has absorption peak of about 1.2 eV. Further, the near-infrared reflectance of the amorphous WO3 after coloring is lowered, while the near-infrared reflectance of the crystalline WO3 is increased. In this regard, experts have explained that the difference in the electrochromic properties of the two WO3 films may be related to the difference in the electrochromic mechanism of amorphous WO3 and crystalline WO3. Whether it is amorphous tungsten trioxide or crystalline tungsten trioxide, the prepared film will have good electrochromic performance, that is, good performance of shielding ultraviolet rays, near infrared rays, and transmitting visible light.
