1.0 Heat preservation. For most parts in China, according to the current regulations, the K value of the building wall should be less than 1. Therefore, the K value of the glass window should also be less than 1 to "block" the energy leakage of the building. In the energy conservation of windows, the K value of the glass plays a major role.
2.0 Heat insulation. The thermal insulation of the glass is adapted to the characteristics of the sun exposure of the building. Buildings for different purposes have different requirements for glass heat insulation. For residential and public buildings where people live and work, the ideal glass should allow most of the visible light to pass through. For example, in Beijing, we hope more infrared rays enter into the room in the winter, and less heat radiation enter into the room in summer for saving energy.
