It makes ion diffusion easier and provides a larger active surface area for charge transfer reactions. The response time of coloring and fading is 5.2 and 2.2 s, respectively. The difference in visible light transmittance between the colored state and the fading state can reach 62%. The coloring efficiency is 55.6cm2V/C. And the stability is maintained after 3000 cycles.
