WO3 nanosheet can be used to prepare electrochromic film. The prepared film has good electrochromic property, such as, good cycle performance, fast response speed, and large optical analog adjustment range in the visible and infrared bands. The following is the preparation method of such a film.

A Method for Preparing WO3 Nanosheet Electrochromic Film
Weigh 0.7mmol Na2WO4?2H2O, dissolved in 30mL deionized water. And 6mL 3MHCl solution is added dropwise with stirring at room temperature, stirring until the white precipitate no longer increases. Add 1.6mmol (NH4)2C2O4 as a structure directing agent, and deionized water is added until the total volume of the solution is 70m, stirring is continued for 1h. The pre-cleaned FTO conductive glass is tilted into the reactor lining. The solution is transferred to the reaction vessel, sealed, placed in a blast drying oven, and hydrothermally reacted at 120°C for 12h, and naturally cooled to room temperature. The conductive glass is taken out, washed with deionized water, dried in an oven at 60°C, and calcined at 450°C for 1h to obtain a tungsten trioxide film.
