Monoclinic phase tungsten trioxide nanosheet can be used to prepare electrochromic film. The obtained WO3 film has good nanosheets morphology and less cracks. In other words, the photoelectric property of the film is good as the defects on the interface are reduced, the probability of recombination of electrons and holes is reduced, the probability of recombination of electrons and holes is reduced, and the impedance of electrons transport in the film is reduced. The following describes a method for preparing a tungsten trioxide electrochromic film which is simple in equipment, simple in operation, and capable of meeting industrial production.

A Method for Preparing Tungsten Trioxide Electrochromic Film
Step one: weigh 0.7mmol Li2WO4?2H20, dissolve in 30mL deionized water, add 6mL 3MHCl solution is added dropwise with stirring at room temperature, then add phosphotungstic acid, stir until the white precipitate no longer increases. The molar amount of phosphotungstic acid is 35% of lithium tungstate.
Step two: add 1.4mmol (NH4)2C2O4 as a structure directing agent, add deionized water until the total volume of the solution is 70mL, and stir for 1h.
Step three: tilt the pre-cleaned FTO conductive glass into the reactor lining. The solution obtained in step two was transferred into the reaction vessel, sealed, placed in a blast drying oven, and hydrothermally reacted at 200°C for 5h, and naturally cooled to room temperature. The conductive glass was taken out, washed with deionized water, dried in an oven at 60°C, and calcined at 550°C for 1h to obtain a tungsten trioxide film.
