Hydrated tungsten trioxide nanosheet film can be prepared by a seed assisted method. Experts tested the relationship between the peak current density and the number of cycles of the cathode and anode of the hydrated WO3 nanosheet film prepared by the urea-induced seed-assisted method with the best performance by chronoamperometry. The peak current density of the cathode and the anode was measured by applying a square wave voltage of -1.0V (in the colored state, 10s) and 1.0V (in the faded state, 10s), and the test results are shown below.

It can be seen from the figure that the peak current density of the hydrated WO3 nanosheet film prepared by the urea-induced seed crystal assisted method after 1000 cycles is almost a horizontal straight line. And there is still no obvious attenuation trend. In other words, the film shows good cycle stability. This is mainly due to the effect of the seed layer, so the bonding force between the film and the substrate can withstand the lattice stress and volume change caused by the injection and extraction of ions and electrons. Among them, cycle stability is an important property of electrochromic films.
