Ag-doped yellow tungsten oxide, or Ag doped tungsten trioxide, can be used in photoelectrocatalytic degradation experiments. Degradation of analytically pure Rhodamine B aqueous solution was carried out in a photoelectrocatalytic reactor. Specifically, the experimental steps are as follows:

Take 80mL of 5mg/L Rhodamine B aqueous solution in a beaker. Weigh 0.8g of Ag doped nano tungsten trioxide powder into the beaker using an electronic analytical balance. And then the beaker was placed in a photoelectrocatalytic experimental platform. The magnets were controlled by a magnetic stirrer at the bottom to uniformly disperse the Ag doped nano yellow tungsten oxide powder in the Rhodamine B solution. A high-pressure mercury lamp of 200W was turned on, and the reaction cell was irradiated from top to bottom. An appropriate amount of the reaction solution was centrifuged every 30 minutes, and the absorption spectrum of the solution was measured by an ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer.
